Personally I prefer the slow-moving ones. And after reading Max Brooks' books (The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z) I can't help but think of his scientific reasoning behind exactly WHY they can only walk/shuffle and not run.
Although that's not to say I don't enjoy the speedy ones, they add a new dimension to the genre, after all.
But my heart lies with George A Romero's beasts.
