I work at a pretty big hospital
I work at a pretty big hospital So me and my friend at work made a zombie apocalypse plan one day and we asked everyone in our department (pharmacy) what they would do or what they thought would be the best plan.
We got quite a few plans but ours is the best lol.
We have 12 floors and 2 locked units. First floor is where our ER is and it is the biggest floor since it connects to our critical care wing, clinics and other outpatient services. Our main headquarters are also there.
Assuming our Zombie outbreak reaches the ER first we would have a tremendously hard time getting out there but it would also be the floor that I'd want to be in if it were to happen. Atleast at it's first outbreak.
Since it's the main headquarters all of our supplies are there so we would gather a team and a bunch of supplies (I.e.antibiotics, multivitamins, pain medicine, IV fluids, gauze, alcohol, etc) carrying also some kind of weapon to fight back and head to the OR for more deadly weapons. From there we have a pretty good view of things and a parking structure close by. All of this has to happen as quickly as possible because with the size of our hospital it's sure death to wait around.
There's a lot of possibilities and set plans for specific locations. If you are stuck in an upper level 4 and up you want to come down the stairs to one of the locked units and gather supplies and set a plan with the people you have on hand.
Time is crucial to survival but you don't want to just run around without a plan or supplies.
I would say that my chances of survival at work would be roughly 65%. It's a bit lower than I'd want but it is a big hospital lol.
I also know how to hot-wire a car and break into a home, haha teenage trouble, so it can Only help under a zombie apocalypse.
Survival is human nature and it's up to us to survive.
I would really hope to have atheists out number Christian or catholic survivors but I'd want as many survivors, it would just be nice for atheists to outnumber religions
