Goodolgeek, 41

First and foremost Im a geek. I enjoy geeky things. My humor is abstract and goofy. When time and money allow I like to go hiking, biking, surfing, out in a social situation, ect then come home and spend the night shooting zombies or doing some team based game. Or maybe just watch a show on netflix.
I love to do things as groups with friends. Given that alone time is a must but most often I think of time as fleeting and like to spend my free time with a small group.
I also love to eat and cook with friends. Im a firm believer that great friends are made over good food and drink. Not all of which must be alcoholic, I do a lot of tea. And while I'm not a vegetarian by any means I am trying to change my diet to be more veggie based.

I'm always described as laid back or that I display little emotion. Its a family thing. Doesn't mean they are not there just it takes a bit more to push me to a strong response or I just don't wear them on my sleeve.
I also tend to be very empathetic, sometimes to the point where its detrimental to me. I'm always trying to see the argument from the other persons point. I fail but I try none the less.
