Knight in rusty armor seeks damsel to rescue him Hmmm...what to say about myself? Let's start with what my best friend would say: I have a huge heart. I give freely of myself to those I care for and expect very little in return (other than their company and respect). I love nature and traveling and have explored much of the southwest. I feel at home under the stars and enjoy photography and hiking. Creativity is something I have in abundance and I have been known to write poetry, sculpt and draw a wicked tree (I doodle trees a lot ;p). Though at home in the outdoors, I love to read and have disappeared with a good book for nights on end. I also find a well written movie will glue me to a screen. I am very much in tune with my mind and emotions. I know who I am, and I’m quite comfortable being me. I’m the kind of guy that loves to engage in random acts of romance. I enjoy surprising my lover with gifts, flowers, and little surprises. I also love playful banter. I work hard and play hard (though play time is in short supply) and am looking for someone to share good times with. I sometimes get a bit frustrated with the whole "dating scene", and I generally dislike playing emotional games. I am not perfect, but I always try to be a better man today than I was yesterday.

As for what I'm looking for, she's definitely special. I want a woman that shares many of my interests and knows how to challenge and encourage me. Open and passionate, yet accepting of the need for individual time. Someone that understands that quality takes work and appreciates the challenge of making things work together.
