I 100% believe so.
I've never had a zombie break my heart, but my undead heart has been broken many times.
I've always been the zombie in my relationships.
The cold rotting removed person.
Zombie lore makes up a good part of my life.
So when someone comes along that not only understands me, but also that obsession as well? They're a keeper obviously.
The last guy I dated accepted that part of me.
Most guys are all about killing zombies, but not him.
If the world was out to put a bullet in my brain, he would've rescued me even if I were gnawing on his pale flesh.
He broke my heart, the cold lifeless organ that I had forever thought still, stoic within my chest.
I wonder, how does a zombie get over such trivial things as love, when it never thought it could feel in the first place? :c
